No. Most international visitors arrive through Krakow Airport, about 120 km away. The onward bus or car journey commonly takes two to three hours and can take longer in weekend traffic.
Only as far as the paid parking at Palenica Białczańska. From there the official route continues on foot; buses also run from Zakopane to the trailhead.
Some pools carry the Zakopane name, but the large complexes visitors compare are in Chochołów, Bukowina Tatrzańska, Białka Tatrzańska and Szaflary. Check transport and the actual complex before booking.
It is a mountain town with several small slopes and access to nearby ski areas, not one connected ski domain. Kasprowy Wierch is high-alpine and weather-dependent; Białka Tatrzańska is outside town.
